The Amesbury Community Carnival 2012 takes place on Saturday at Holders Road Playing Field and we have some spectacular displays to entertain you in this year of the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics.
You can participate in many ways, not just by coming along with family and friends but also by taking part. The planning team is always happy for any help in the run up to the event and on the day itself, as you will appreciate there is always a lot to do. You can contact us via the Contact Page.
Why not take a stall on the day? It's great fun and with over 6,000 anticipated visitors, you can be sure of a busy time. Book a stall by clicking through below..
You could enter a float into our procession which travels through the town - we can provide advice and a list of possible lorry companies, etc.
Keep up to date with what is happening during the Carnival by following on Facebook.
Amesbury Community Carnival would not be possible without the support of local clubs, organisations and individuals. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following:
Aes Dana Grove of Druids; Alexandra Spencer, Martin & Co; Amesbury 2012 Committee; Amesbury Community Shop; Amesbury Jubilee Committee; Amesbury Sports Centre; Amesbury Town Council; Amesbury Rotary Club; Brandall Design; Earl and Countess of Chichester; Mayor Andy Rhind-Tutt; PA 4A Day; Qinetiq; Ringway Parkman; Stokes Fun Fair; Kerry Quinn, Tesco, Amesbury; The Stonehenge School, Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service;
One of our main aims is to provide local charities with the opportunity to raise funds on the day . You can do this by booking a pitch and running a fundraising stall. We also give money to local charities from the street collections of the day.
